Information

Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

This course is aimed at providing a general introduction to international criminal law and procedure. It will cover conceptual issues, a short overview of the history of international criminal law, the substantive law of international crimes as well as procedure in the International Criminal Court (ICC).

Art der Leistungskontrolle und erlaubte Hilfsmittel

Participation in discussions in class (20 per cent) and final written exam (80 per cent).

Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab

Basic understanding and knowledge of international law

Prüfungsstoff

Presentation and discussion of select topics on the basis of material provided by the instructor.

Literatur

Syllabus and a reader, respectively, will be provided by the in¬structor via the elearningplatform "Moodle"
