Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung
This course aims to provide an analysis of the legal framework for consumer protection within the European Union. It will cover the rights and obligations of consumers and businesses, examine relevant case law from the Court of Justice of the EU, and address issues related to the implementation of EU consumer protection laws into national legislation. Students will gain an understanding of the evolution and goals of EU consumer protection law and engage in discussions on current issues and future trends in this field.
Art der Leistungskontrolle und erlaubte Hilfsmittel
Written exam with four questions. The exam will last for 1.5 hours and will take place on Friday 13.12.2024.
Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab
The exam is intended to evaluate students’ overall understanding of the reading material and topics covered during the course. Therefore, students should be well-versed in the reading material and should have closely followed the lecture units.
Prüfungsstoff
The exam will cover topics from the reading material that have been discussed in the course, along with the course content itself.
