Business English I is assessed by means ofMidterm Test (25%) online through Moodle

Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab
The students will be awarded a grade on the basis of their overall percentage score (PS) as follows:
PS 60.5-70 → Grade 4
PS 70.5-80 → Grade 3
PS 80.5-90 → Grade 2
PS 90.5-100 → Grade 1In order to pass the course, participants must reach an overall percentage score (PS) of more than 60%.According to university regulation, this course is "prüfungsimmanent", which means that in principle students must attend every class (for information on how this applies when the course is taught in a digital format, please see below). Exceptionally, they may miss a maximum of two sessions.
Failure to attend the first session without prior notification will result in losing the place in the course.This course will be taught in a digital format through Moodle. This means your physical presence is not required, but you are expected to actively participate online by completing weekly sessions through Moodle. Completing these weekly sessions is mandatory and if you fail to actively participate (e.g. post to forums, upload assignments…) for more than two sessions this will result in a fail.Sessions will be posted weekly on Moodle (you will receive an email notification whenever a new session goes online.) You are expected to complete weekly homework and online tasks (for instance, contribute to class discussions and forums, upload specific assignments, etc). These will only be available for a limited time period (usually one week). Please note that late submissions will not be accepted. Failure to actively participate in the course online (that means if you make no submissions for more than two sessions) will result in a fail.
