Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

The content of the course is arranged according to the topics of the accompanying lecture series. Additional texts are read for each session of the course and are going to be critically reflected, discussed and evaluated in class.

Art der Leistungskontrolle und erlaubte Hilfsmittel

Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab

It is the aim of the course to elaborte on a variety of issues in global history. Moreover it offers an overview of academic writing techniques and presentation skills.

Prüfungsstoff

The course is organised like a seminar. Students are expected to participate actively in classroom discussions, to read all the provided texts and to fulfill written and oral exercises.
