Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

This course is designed for pre-service English teachers with basic digital skills who want to explore how artificial intelligence can transform language teaching. We combine key pedagogical principles with hands-on practice, enabling you to integrate AI tools confidently, creatively, and effectively into your future EFL classrooms. You will learn about the opportunities and challenges of AI in language learning and develop ready-to-use, innovative teaching ideas.

Practical focus & tools include:

Generative AI: ChatGPT, AI image generators, AI-powered presentation tools
AI for lesson design: creating materials, explainer videos, and gamified learning tasks
Efficiency boosters: AI hacks for planning, feedback, and assessment

By the end, you will have built your own AI Teacher Toolkit and the skills to motivate and engage learners while using AI in a reflective and responsible way.
