Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

The focus of this course, which is compulsory for master and doctoral students, is the problem-oriented discussion of issues that arise during the conception and/or development of ideas towards (the completion of) masters and doctoral theses.

Art der Leistungskontrolle und erlaubte Hilfsmittel

Active and regular participation, two presentations with handouts of the current state of (the ideas towards the completion of) the thesis, one written abstract. Presence in class is mandatory (maximally two missed meetings, unless a doctor's statement is submitted) because active participation and group discussions are the essence of this class.
