Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

The lecture provides an introduction to the field of cognitive psychology covering the fundamental topics of the field: perception, attention, consciousness, memory, thinking, and intelligence. The history of the discipline will be covered also, as well as the research methods and selected additional topics relevant to cognitive psychology.

Art der Leistungskontrolle und erlaubte Hilfsmittel

Depending on the number of examinees, either oral examinations of 30 min lengths (preferred); or a written exam of 60 minutes duration, with either 5 open questions in case of moderately high numbers of examinees or MC questions in case of high numbers of examinees.

Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab

Grading according to the level of elaboration; 4 points per question; 20 points in total
