Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung
The lecture gives an overview of the different areas of strategic communication with a focus on strategic corporate communication. Students will first learn about the defining elements and history of the concept before gaining insights into the theoretical underpinnings and concepts, including corporate identity, corporate branding, reputation, crisis and complaint management, intercultural aspects of stratcom and communciation controlling. The lecture will also discuss empirical studies to prepare students for their own research in this area.
