Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

In this seminar, students will learn how to carry out high-quality scientific research on the topic of AI and persuasive outcomes (i.e., the impact of social chatbots on offline relationships, the impact of AI influencers on health/ persuasive outcomes). In the first semester, students will develop their research ideas, identify crucial research gaps in this domain, and investigate the current state-of-the-art. They will develop their research ideas, hypotheses/ research questions, and their measurement instruments. Throughout this semester, the student will present their ideas and design in class, attend individual feedback and mentoring sessions with the lecturers, and write a scientific paper.

To enroll in this course, a high level of motivation to commit to a high-quality scientific study is required.
