• Regular participation (attendance at 5 of 6 meetings is expected); in case of lower participation rates, a compensation is possible on request (e.g., written feedback)
• 10 minutes-presentation of the (current state of) doctoral thesis project at the first session (10%)
• Reading the drafts of other students and preparing for structured discussions (40%)
• Presentation of one manuscript or equivalent preparation of materials for structured discussion and reflection rounds of the doctoral thesis project (e.g., to analyse qualita-tive data) (50%)

Participants will present and discuss the progress and problems of the individual doctoral thesis projects based on draft manuscripts of exposés, journal articles, monograph chapters, or synopses of cumulative dissertations. In addition, we conduct small empirical research workshops based on the participants' data material.
Depending on the thematic interests of the group, participants contribute to theoretical, methodological, and ethical approaches and challenges.
Manuscripts and materials that participants wish to discuss in the colloquium must be made available to the other participants for preparation at least 7 days before the meeting date.
