The course content includes setting up and operating the available spectroscopic equipment, observing stars, and producing calibrated spectra with the aid of standard star observations. In addition to the observations, introductory lectures will also be held. For the practical part, students work in teams of 2-4 to conduct observations, to analyze data, and finally to submit a group report.Previous completion of the course “PR Observational Lab Course (observatory practice)” (Observatoriumpraktikum Teil 2) is required to register for this course.
