Dear Participants of the "Methods in Cell Biology" Lecture Series,

We have been informed as of today (March 31st), that a "normalized" teaching performance will not be implemented before midst of May.

We do currently stick to the proposed schedule (starting with Lecture 1 at May 5), but keep the right to re-schedule if necessary. As of now, we have to plan running the series as video lectures (either recorded or online - this will be up to the respective lecturer). We may keep the format, even if standard lecturing will be allowed. We will keep you updated.

All exam dates will be kept active, until further notice. We cannot estimate, which options will be available by June.

For the time in between I have asked the lecturers to upload reading/teaching material/lecture slides so that you can prepare yourselves in an appropriate way.

All the best,

Josef Gotzmann

Lectures will take place May 5th to June 17th, Tuesdays and Wednesdays 12:00-2:00pm, in MFPL 6th floor SR 1 (Dr. Bohrgasse 9/6, 1030 Vienna).

Information

It is the principle aim of this lecture series to give people advanced in their study an overview on selected techniques and technologies which are beyond standard textbook knowledge. A series of specialists, who also work with these techniques in everyday lab-life, will allow students to get a deeper insight into how profound scientific research is conducted on a methodological level.

@Exam: 9 questions - one each per lecturer - each question 6 points max.
Evaluation key: Sehr Gut (1) 47.00-54.00 // Gut (2) 39.00-46.99 // Befriedigend (3) 30.00-38.99 // Genügend (4) 25.00-29.99 // Nicht Genügend (5) 00.00-24.99

Prüfungsstoff

the slide content of the individual lectures is the basis for the exam questions. Any added oral/written comments from the individual lecturers will also be included.
