Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung
This seminar addresses current developments in procedural law from comparatist perspective. It addresses recent developments in litigation, arbitration and ADR in the United States and in Europe. Participants can choose their topic (for a presentation of 20 minutes) in these fields. They are expected to write a paper of 20-25 pages on the subject. The language of the seminar is English – papers can also be submitted in German.
Art der Leistungskontrolle und erlaubte Hilfsmittel
Presentation of 20 minutes, paper of 20-25 pages (by the end of the semester).
Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab
Students will be graded on the basis of their submitted paper, the oral presentation and their participation in the discussion.
Prüfungsstoff
An exam is not scheduled as part of the course.
