Information

Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

Aim of the course: This course will familiarize students with recent research in macrofinance on a Ph.D. / advanced M.Sc. course level. A particular emphasis will be placed on the origins of financial instability as well as the insights from long-run perspectives linking current debates about financial instability, asset prices, savings, debt and inequality.

Art der Leistungskontrolle und erlaubte Hilfsmittel

Students will present a research idea in classduring the second block of the course that they will develop into a 4-5 page research proposal. Participation the and presentation in class will account for 50% of the final grade, and the final research proposal for the remaining 50%.
