Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

This colloqium is a space for STS PhD students to discuss work in progress with colleagues and faculty and to receive feedback. It is oriented around a number of key concepts or theoretical frames that are important to contemporary STS scholarship, and will involve collective discussion of these in combination with student presentations reflecting on how they use these concepts in practice.

Art der Leistungskontrolle und erlaubte Hilfsmittel

Students are expected to:
- Prepare for and participate in collective discussion of readings and (where applicable) work-in-progress texts;
- Jointly lead a workshop session where they present their current research and reflect on how they make use of particular concepts within it.

Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab

The course is graded based on the basis of the quality of students' participation in group discussion (50%) and their joint development of a workshop session (50%).
