Journal Club: Current controversies in vertebrate palaeobiology.
Background: Vertebrate palaeobiology is currently defined by intense debates, driven by new fossil discoveries, high-tech imaging, and evolving ethical standards. The most prominent controversies in the field span across taxonomic reclassifications, evolutionary origins, palaeoecology, and the ethics of data access. In this seminar, major, current controversies will be analysed and discussed.
Remarks: Students from all earth and life sciences disciplines are welcome. The course is compulsory for all members of the Evolutionary Moorphology Research Group.
