Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung
In the seminar, participants will gain an overview over current research topics in the research cluster Data & Knowledge. The seminar will further teach participants how to present their research topic to a knowledegable audience.
Art der Leistungskontrolle und erlaubte Hilfsmittel
Students need to actively participate in any events organized as part of the seminar.
Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab
Attendance of the faculty-open presentations is mandatory to pass the course. You can miss one of the two events without negative consequences if you can demonstrate that you could not attend for reasons beyond your control, e.g., you got sick or you presented a paper at a conference. Having other meetings at the same time does not qualify as a valid excuse. If you miss both events for reasons beyond your control you will be deregistered. If you miss at least one event without a valid excuse you receive a 5 for the course.
