Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

With the rapidly accelerating development of quantum technologies, it is easy to lose sight of the fundamental questions that quantum physics continues to pose. Yet these questions not only deepen our understanding of the core principles of quantum theory, but also provide unexpected insights that can guide technology in new directions.
This year’s summer school, “Reaching Quantum Advantage: Foundations to Applications,” aims to make this interplay visible between experimental and theoretical foundational research and the emergence of new directions in quantum science and technology.

Art der Leistungskontrolle und erlaubte Hilfsmittel

If you are interested in getting the ECTS points, then the mandatory attendance (80% ) would be requested and short scientific statements about the talks should be prepared.

The registration for the course is also mandatory. You can register online till 23.02.2026.

Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab

Understanding of the course material. Knowledge of the key models and experiments related to the research topics. Attendance at summer school.
