Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

This is an advanced grammar course specially designed for academic writing. It is designed for students with an advanced level of academic English proficiency and presents a review of grammar topics and writing strategies intended to improve and enhance the student’s use of grammar and the written language. Students will refine their use of English grammar through lots of hands on practice exercises.
Upon completion of the course, students should be able to properly use specific grammatical structures, including verb tenses, parallel structure, independent and dependent clauses, modals, gerunds and infinitives and passive verb construction. Attention will also be given to punctuation, sentence construction, and word order.
