Every class session will begin with a lecture on the day's theme. The lectures are desigend to provide students wich background information necessary for thoughtful discussion and engagement with the assigned readings. The second half of class will be devoted to discussion with the invited lecturers based on the readings and lecture.
We will also use two entire sessions for repetition and further discussions of readings. Students will be asked to present mandatory readings in 10minutes presentations each.

Art der Leistungskontrolle und erlaubte Hilfsmittel
A short presentation of readings OR final written exam (Kalusur). The 10 exam questions of exam are based on the content of the lectures and the additional readings of the course.

WRITTEN EXAM (10 questions) AT JAN 28, 2014 at 11:30 to 13:00 at LECTURE HALL 48.AT 11:30 at Lecture Hall written exam starts
Both examinations (presentations and written exam) last up to 13:00
WRITTEN EXAM = 10 questions to be answered in catch words, content = 50% lecture class, 50% = additional readings.
