Aims, contents and method of the course

Überblick über die wichtigsten Ansätze der europäischen Moralphilosophie: Paradigmen europäischer Moralphilosophie (Aristoteles, Kant, Utilitarismus); Klassische Begründungen von Ethik (Naturrecht, Vernunftrecht), aktuelle Positionen (Diskursethik, Kontraktualismus, Neoaristotelismus, analytische Ethik, evolutionäre Ethik, angewandte Ethik). Vorlesung.
Derzeit noch offen in welcher Form Vorlesung stattfinden wird. Derzeit noch offen ob und wieviel auch phsyisch vor Ort stattfindet. Voraussichtlich Mix aus online-Unterlagen (Audioaufnahmen, Texte, Manuskripte) und Diskussionsmöglichkeit alle 2-3 Wochen (online, evt optional auch vor Ort).

Assessment and permitted materials

Oral or written exam. Exam dates will be added. The exam is usually held in German, although English and Spanish are possible, when needed.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

In order to pass the exam, sufficient expertise has to be proven, at least 50% of achievable points.
