Siehe nachstehend.Die Lehrveranstaltungsleitung entscheidet, ob und welche KI im Unterricht oder beim Verfassen von wissenschaftlichen Arbeiten eingesetzt werden darf. Die Details werden dazu in der Lehrveranstaltung bekanntgegeben bzw. mit den Studierenden vereinbart. Im Fall des Verdachts der nicht transparent gemachten bzw. nicht erlaubten Nutzung von KI behält sich die Lehrveranstaltungsleitung das Recht auf ein „notenrelevantes Gespräch“ vor. Das notenrelevante Gespräch hat zum Ziel, die eigenständige Erstellung der Seminararbeit durch die Studierenden sicherzustellen. Ergibt sich im Gespräch, dass die*der Studierende keine ausreichende Auskunft zu den Inhalten, Methoden, verwendeten Quellen oder Schlussfolgerungen der Seminararbeit geben kann, wird die Teilleistung Seminararbeit negativ beurteilt. Ergibt sich im Laufe des Gespräches, dass unerlaubte Hilfsmittel eingesetzt wurden, wird ein studienrechtliches Verfahren wegen der Verwendung unerlaubter Hilfsmittel eingeleitet. Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Zur Gewährleistung der Lehr- und Lernziele besitzt diese Lehrveranstaltung eine Anwesenheitspflicht. Ein Fernbleiben von 2 Sitzungen à 90min (bei 2 SWS) bzw. 2 Sitzungen à 45min (bei 1 SWS) ist gestattet. Sollten Studierende darüber hinaus aus einem wichtigen Grund an Lehreinheiten nicht teilnehmen können, muss dieser glaubhaft gemacht werden.Englischkenntnisse sind erforderlich, da einschlägige Literatur größtenteils in englischer Sprache verfügbar ist. Die Gewichtung der Leistungskontrolle ist wie folgt: Hausübungen (25%), Referat samt Präsentation (25%), Seminararbeit (50%). Voraussetzung: Die Absolvierung einführender religionswissenschaftlicher Lehrveranstaltungen.Die Seminararbeit wird den Studierenden bei negativer Bewertung zur Verbesserung zurückgestellt.

Konkret verweist der religionswissenschaftliche Millenarismusbegriff auf die Vorstellung einer heilsbezogenen Transformation, die für gewöhnlich die Welt umschließt (sich mitunter aber auch in außerweltlichen Sphären zutragen mag), und die zumindest einige von jenen erfasst, die an einer entsprechenden Vorstellungswelt aktiv teilhaben. Diese Veränderung soll sich (in wesentlicher Weise) womöglich in unmittelbarer Zukunft verdichten.
Das Seminar widmet sich der vergleichend-systematischen Untersuchung ausgewählter Millenarismen in Geschichte und Gegenwart. Zentrale Begrifflichkeiten werden eingeführt (Eschatologie, Messianismus, Soteriologie, Chiliasmus, Parusie, Millenarismus/Millennialismus, Millennium, etc.) und Grundlagen der religionswissenschaftlichen Millenarismustheorie mit Blick auf große Traditionen erläutert (Buddhismus, Christentum, Daoismus, Hinduismus, Islam, Judentum, Konfuzianismus, Zoroastrismus). Vor diesem Hintergrund werden letztlich spezifische Millenarismusentwürfe unterschiedlicher religiöser Traditionen vorgestellt und analysiert. Besonderes Augenmerk erhalten Themen wie Millenarismus und Gewalt, Millenarismus und Ethnozentrismus, sowie der Umgang mit nicht eingetroffenen millenaristischen Erwartungen.
