Aims, contents and method of the course

The Basic course Old Testament II deals with the prophetic books of the Hebrew Bible.
It gives an overview over the phenomenon of prophecy in ancient Israel and the prophetic books of the Hebrew Bible. Selected books and texts are examined more detailed.

Assessment and permitted materials

Written exam, 45 minutes
First possible examination date: 27.01.2026

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

valuation key (for written exams): 100-87 points = excellent, 86-75 = good, 74-63 = satisfactory, 62-51 = sufficient, 50-0 insufficient.
