Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

On the occasion of the 100 anniversary of the "October revolution" in Russia, its prehistory and its consequences, up to the raise and fall of the Soviet Union, will be discussed. Also the context (f.e. Austro-Marxism) will be in focus.

Assessment and permitted materials

Independent research, preparation and presentation of a scientific topic; written report.
The grade will result on the oral as well as on the written achievments.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Participants will be asked for a 20-minute-presentation. A PPP will be possible but is not mandatory. Participation on the presentation day is obligatory!
