Aims, contents and method of the course

Explanation of the most important basic concepts of Austrian public procurement law (types of contracting authority, types of contract, exceptions, types of procedure, suitability criteria, selection criteria and award criteria, reasons for withdrawal, legal protection) using simple cases.

Assessment and permitted materials

Die Lehrveranstaltung wird als Präsenzveranstaltung gehalten. Die Fälle werden vorab auf moodle zur Verfügung gestellt und müssen von den Studierenden vorbereitet werden. Die Beurteilung erfolgt anhand einer schriftlichen Klausur, die am letzten Kurstag abgehalten werden wird und die nur jenen Lehrinhalt zum Gegenstand hat, der vorgetragen wurde.

Basic knowledge in European Public Procurement Law.
