Aims, contents and method of the course

This seminar is devoted to discuss the conceptual underpinnings of the standard of Fair and Equitable Treatment (short FET) as well as the actual case-law of international investment arbitration. Participants are requested to select one of the topics listed below for presentation.

Assessment and permitted materials

Seminar paper, presentation of the paper and participation in the discussion during the seminar sessions

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Assessment of the written exposes, the oral presentation of the doctoral project (20 minutes) and subsequent discussion.
