Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

This lecture deals with the both scientifically and sociopolitically interesting part of women in criminality. It describes the frequency of "female" delinquency and victimization, specific differences in appearances of crime in relation to gender, and questions of legal policy, especially concerning sex offences.

Assessment and permitted materials

The grading is based on the scores achieved by the given summery of a specified topic during the course or in the written exam. From two (obligatory participation) up to four additional scores are granted for participation in the discussion either during the course or on the moodle-platform. The attendance of the course is compulsory!

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

You have to reach at least 18 of the 35 scores. In Addition you have to attend the course regularily and participate at least two times in the discussion (either during the lessons or on the moodle-platform).

Examination topics

The learning content is provided both by presentations of the course lecturer and short summaries of strictly specified topics by students. If possible, a guest lecturer will offer insight into his or her practical experiences in the field of combating domestic violence.
