Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This seminar deals with recent developments in European Union Law. Students habe the opportunity to reserach and present a classical topic or a principle of EU-law bsed on and referring to a recent judgement of the ECJ. topics and introductory literature will be provided. In the wrap-up discussion perspectives and legal policy issues shall be raised and discussed. Interdisciplinary perspectives are more than welcome.
Assessment and permitted materials
The assessment is based on participation in the discussion (own presentation and in general) within the seminar (= 20%), the written handout (presentation or such = 20%) and the oral presentation (= 60%) for diploma students, whereas for bachelor-students the presentation shall be marked together with the bachelor-thesis.
The requirements for the seminar paper are in line with the common practice at the Faculty of Law. Details and suggestions for further research work shall be provided via leaflet on moodle and in the kickoff class.

Examination topics
Students would want to present a topic of their own choice (out of a list provided) and hand in a short overview of the topic/the presentation itself.
