the first course is not a prerequisite for admission. The themes to be
discussed will most likely include liberalism and nationalism, the neutral
attitude of a liberal state vis-à-vis various forms of life, the rise of
neoliberalism and its manifestation in Law and Economics and Public Choice
Theory, and, finally, left-wing and right-wing critiques of liberalism.
