Aims, contents and method of the course

CONTENT:
In this seminar, the "Chancellor's Dictatorship" 1933/34-1938 and the "Nazi Leader's State" 1938-1945 will be examined with regard to differences and similarities on the basis of selected topics.

OBJECTIVES and METHODS:
Presentations by students and their critical discussion, preparation and supervision of a written paper, preferably a DSA (supported by an introduction to academic work), for more details see learning platform

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT
Sufficient attendance and presentation on the adopted topic.

ASSESSMENT STANDARD

Intellectual penetration of the topic on the basis of sufficient literature research, quality of the written seminar paper or DSA, quality of the presentation and lecture
Weighting of the partial performances: Paper including presentation (40% of the final grade), participation in discussion (5% of the final grade), written paper (55% of the final grade), i.e. for a grade higher than "sufficient", the presentation AND a written paper are required (can already be the DSA, but does not have to be).
