Lecturers

Classes

The course will take place in hybrid form.
The general lectures on 12, 13 and 14 September can be attended either on site or online via Moodle.
The lecture on study law on 15 September (14:30-15:15) will be held exclusively online via Moodle.
The presentations of the majors and minors (15 -16 September) will be held exclusively online via Moodle.
The final quiz on 21 Septemberwill be held exclusively online via Moodle.


Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The course is organised in cooperation with the student representatives (https://stvibw.at/) and offers first-year students of the Master's degree programmes BW and IBW an introduction to their chosen degree programme. Students are introduced to the organisational, curricular and legal contents of the degree programme. In addition, the majors and minors of the Master's degree programmes are presented (15-16 September) by student representatives, department heads of the faculty and lecturers. This course is aimed at first and second semester students. The course also offers the opportunity to network with other first-semester students before the semester starts.

Attention: NO POINTS have to be allocated in the course registration!

In the case of too many registrations, students who are at the beginning of their studies at our Faculty will be accepted first.

Online task
Online quiz on 21 September (multiple choice, 45 questions)

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

100% attendance (absence only in urgent cases)
Submission of an online task via Moodle
Final online quiz (at least 50% of the questions have to be answered correctly)
