Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The aim of this course is to present and discuss critically with peers substantial aspects of the master thesis. Both aspects, presentation of own research as well as discussion of research of others are central elements of this course.
Assessment and permitted materials
This course will be assessed upon the presentation (50%) and the quality of discussion (50%).Passing requires both a satisfying presentation AND active contributions in discussions of the work of others.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Participation is restricted to students registered for a master thesis. The approval of the thesis topic by the SSC needs to be documented.The master thesis has to be officially registered and at least 60% of the thesis has to be completed.
