Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

This lecture will provide a general overview of Early Dynastic (Proto-Dynastic to Dynasty 3) art and archaeology in Egypt. We will visit a number of important settlement, cemetery and cult sites of this era.
Depending on the development of the pandemic, the class will take place in digital, hybrid or face-to-face mode.

Assessment and permitted materials

In order to complete this class, there will be a one-hour final exam which can be taken on 4 different dates.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

In order to pass the final exam at least 50% of the maximum marking points have to be achieved. Grading scale: 88 - 100 % = 1, 75 - 87,99 % = 2, 62,51 - 74,99 % = 3, 50 - 62,50 % = 4, 0 - 49,99 % = 5
