Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Since the monography is no longer the primery medium for constructing historical images historians and history teachers are in charge of adapting technique and learning with and within different sorts of media: television, movies, internet and videogames challenge the public way of viewing history. Historians and history students need to prepare themselves with methods of reflecting and integrating new media and therefore a concept of the construction of history. Especially the internet leeds to a comeback of oral tradtions of history telling which shall be considered and incorporated by modern historians in their work.
