Aims, contents and method of the course

The lecture deals with fundamental topics of Austrian constitutional, administrative and administrative history of the Middle Ages and the early modern period (up to 1815). In addition to conveying essential facts, emphasis is placed on embedding the phenomena in broader political, economic and social contexts.

Assessment and permitted materials

Written final exam. 1st date: 29.01.2025, 11:30 -13:00.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

At least 50% of the maximum number of points must be achieved for a positive result. The maximum number of points to be achieved for each question is shown on the examination sheet.

Contents of the lecture as well as compulsory reading mentioned in the course of the semester.

Reading list

In the first teaching unit and in the course of the semester, the most important works on the subject area are mentioned. Students will also be provided with a script.
