Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
By visiting places of historical interest in Irelands capital the excursion participants will deepen their knowledge of Irish history and gain an insight in Dublins cultural life. They will also have an opportunity to improve their language skills and to acquire literature on Irish history and culture in Dublin¿s well-stocked bookstores or in the specialised museum shops. Taking part in a group excursion abroad is also a valuable experience for the individual and, hopefully, an impulse to specialise in some aspect of Irish history at a later stage of studies.
Examination topics
In addition to the constant stream of information from the excursion leader, at each site visited the participants will take part in a guided tour by experts.
