Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The Graduate College Global History supports students in writing their Master's thesis according to the Master Curriculum "Globalgeschichte" , "Globalgeschichte und Global Studies" or according to the Erasmus Mundus Master-Program "Global Studies". Attendance for second year Erasmus Mundus students is obligatory. The Graduate College will guide students in conceptualizing, planning, and writing their Master's thesis (choice of topic, theoretical approaches, methods, structure, search for and critique of literature and sources). It will also offer the opportunity for students to present preliminary results, to discuss these results, and to exchange information.
Didactics: Seminar style, students will be involved in planning and organization.
Requirements: Regular attendance, active participation, punctual fulfilment of all assignments.
