Aims, contents and method of the course

1. Homework assignments to be anounced during the semester.
Please expect homework assignments every 2-3 weeks.
2. Mid-term examination (compulsory, minimal requirement), provided face-to-face teaching will resume at the latest May 1st.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
1. Your mandatory attendance (max. 3 leaves of absence)
2. Acquiring basic theoretical and practical knowledge in Linguistics, with a special focus on German Linguistics.
3. You are expected to deliver your homework on a regular basis and to observe the deadlines. This is a minimal requirement.
4. Attending both the mid-term and the final exam. Both attendancies are minimal requirements.QUANTIFICATION OF YOUR OUTPUT- Delivering your homeworks is a prerequisite to attend the mid-term and the final examination
- Mid-term examination 40%, final examination 60%Hence please do take your attendance, your homework and your mid-term exam as seriously as you take your final examination.
