Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Systematic study of grammar and vocabulary at a B2+-C1 level and work on the four language skills.
Use of different types of texts related to Hispanic culture as a basis for practising oral and written expression. Reading of two books. Listening and audiovisual material (short films), debates, etc.
Cooperative work will be encouraged; to this end, working in pairs, groups and open classes will be essential. Students are also expected to work on certain grammatical/lexical aspects independently.

Assessment and permitted materials

- Written examinations during the semester: mid-term examination (80 points), final examination (80 points) (reading or writing comprehension, grammar and vocabulary) and oral interview (40 points)
A total of 120 points out of 200 is required to pass the course. (first exam (80 p.) + second exam (80 p.), oral interview = 40 points).
No support/reference materials are allowed during the exams or oral interview.
- Written assignments

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

A total of 120 points out of 200 will be required to pass the course. (first exam + second exam = 160 points / oral interview = 40 points).
