Aims, contents and method of the course
Assessment and permitted materials
Progressive assessments, correction of exercises, and a test at the end of the semester.
a. Two midterm exams (one written, one oral) on language acquisition in the first part of the semester (20%)
b. A final written test on topics covered after the midterm exam (50%)
c. 3 homework assignments worth 10 points each (30%)
The midterm and final tests must be completed without any help and are written on the spot.

Understanding the basic elements of Romanian, writing short texts, engaging in basic conversation.he course exam is graded on a point scale:
Fail: up to 50 points
Pass: 50 to 60 points
Satisfactory: 60 to 70 points
Good: 70 to 80 points
Very good: 80 to 100 points
