Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This course introduces students to a selection of basic issues in literary and cultural studies. It acquaints students with relevant terminology and its practical application and provides a survey of the major approaches in both fields. The relevance of the various issues for the English language classroom will be highlighted.

written exam (multiple choice) in English
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Students understand the basic terms and approaches in literary and cultural studies and are able to analyse and interpret examples from literary and cultural production on that basis.
