Aims, contents and method of the course

Als Einleitung werden theoretische und methodologische Probleme in Verbindung mit der Gattung des Dokumentarismus in der Literatur und ihre Abgrenzung zu verwandten Gattungen, wie z.B. der Reportage-Literatur, diskutiert. Ein historischer Überblick über die Geschichte der europäischen Dokumentarliteratur wird präsentiert. Anschliessend werden eine Reihe von Werken innerhalb der skandinavischen Dokumentarliteratur vorgestellt und analysiert. Folgende Werke werden behandelt: St.St. Blicher: Prästen i Vejlbye (1829), Georg Büchner: Woyzeck (1845-35), Thorkild Hansen: Jens Munk (1965), Per Olof Sundman: Ingenjör Andrees Luftfärd (1967), P.O. Enqvist: Legionärerna (1968), Sara Lidman: Gruva (1968), Tor Obrestad: Sauda! Streik! (1972), Kaare Holt: Kapplöpet (1974).
Die Texte (abgesehen von Woyzeck) sind zum Kopieren im Sekretariat erhältlich und sollen ALLE von den Seminarteilnehmern gelesen werden.
