Due to the current situation the course will be following a hybrid model: lessons will alternatingly be online and in person (with maintenance of distance and hygiene rules). The in person lessons will be streamed as well and can be attended digitally as well.

Aims, contents and method of the course

Introduction to contemporary literary Mari, Part I (will be continued in summer term)

Assessment and permitted materials

Evaluation of learning progress over the course of the semester and an oral (online possible) exam at the end of the semester.

Acquisition of reading and speaking competencies

Examination topics

Participation (in person or online) is mandatory; active participation will be evaluated. The students will be given access to a modern textbook. The oral examination at the end of the semester will review the content covered over the course of the semester.
