Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The course builds on STEOP's acquired knowledge from winter term 2019 and intensifies the skills acquired there. It introduces the students to the independent writing of smaller written works (book criticism, scientific essay, interpretation of poetry etc.)

Assessment and permitted materials

Using (home) exercises, the students demonstrate that they can use and apply the knowledge they have acquired.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The students recognize how to research well and use his / her knowledge gained from the research for scientific work.
The students see that the use of relevant bibliographical aids and the use of the most important specialist reference works (not only Google and Wikipedia !!!) is a prerequisite for good BA work.
The students create critical reflections on existing texts and show themselves firm creating specific texts.

Examination topics

Practice the scientific tools, two longer written tasks (Easter, Pentecostal exercise); text interpretations.
