Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Using economic methods and concepts preconditions and effects of market allocations and central planning are analysed
Assessment and permitted materials
Preparation of examples and final exam.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Students learn to appreciate positive effects of market allocations and of central planning and their limits. Ethical and normative aspects will be discussed.
Examination topics
Presentation with discussion and preparation of examples and problems.
