Aims, contents and method of the course

Kulturgeographie, Sozialanthropologie, Kunst und Kultur in Südarabien (insb. Jemen und Oman).

Assessment and permitted materials

Mitarbeit und schriftliche Prüfung über den Semesterstoff am Semesterende bzw. im darauf foldenden Semester (insgesamt werden vier Prüfungstermine angeboten).

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Kenntnis der wichtigsten geographischen und kulturellen Besonderheiten des südarabischen Raums sowie seiner kulturhistorischen Kontakte mit den Nachbarregionen.

Examination topics

Präsentation des Stoffes sowie Bearbeitung ausgewählter Aspekte durch die Studierenden.
