Aims, contents and method of the course
Accompaniment of work for the (development of the) diploma or doctoral thesis; formal, content-related, and technical questions of the thesis; methods and theories; working skills.
Assessment and permitted materials
Texts, participation in discussions and comments, presentations.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Students will acquire skills to write a scientifically sound and formally agreeable diploma or doctoral thesis, and to survive the final phase of their studies.
Examination topics
Writing sample texts, presentation of (preliminary) results, comments, discussions, introduction to bureaucratic hurdles.
