Aims, contents and method of the course
Assessment and permitted materials
Es besteht Anwesenheitspflicht. Bei der Ermittlung der Semesternote werden folgende Komponenten herangezogen:
1) Mitarbeit,
2) Semesterarbeit (über ein mit einem Werk bzw. Autor der Leseliste im Zusammenhang stehendes Thema).ASSESSMENTAttendance is compulsory. Assessment is based on the following components:

2) A term paper (on a topic related to a work or author on the reading list).

Examination topics
Der erste Teil des Kurses nimmt als Grundlage den Überblick im Handbuch von Horst Oppel (s.unten). Es wird erwartet, dass Teilnehmer sich mit dem Stoff vertraut machen und ihn durch ihre eigenen Recherchen ergänzen, damit sie in der Lage sind, die wichtigsten Sachverhalte darzustellen und zu diskutieren. Textbeispiele (die
