Aims, contents and method of the course

Höranalytische Einführung in die Formbildung der Musik der Wiener Klassik. Ausgehend von der Betrachtung kleinerer Formeinheiten werden zunehmend größere Formzusammenhänge analysiert. Konzentration der Analyseübungen auf Ausschnitte bzw. Sätze aus Klaviersonaten und Streichquartetten von Haydn, Mozart und Beethoven.

Assessment and permitted materials

Aktive Mitarbeit, Bearbeitung von Übungsaufgaben, schriftliche Prüfung am Ende des Semesters.
