The course aims to provide a professional preparation for future teaching.
- Observing, planning and conducting lessons, as well as reflecting on teaching in general, supported by subject-specific methods.
- A deeper understanding and expansion of methods and didactic knowledge
- Dealing with various forms of assessment
- Supervision and reflection regarding the practical phase at schoolCONTENT and METHODS
As a first introduction, particpants are provided with a deeper understanding of topics which are relevant to teaching a lesson. Based on prior knowledge acquired in the bachelor-programme, issues like lesson planning, criteria of good teaching, assessment, competence-based assessment, as well as pre-scientific work with students, in psychology and philosophy, are discussed.
The primary focus of the course constitutes the enhancement and expansion of both didactic knowledge and methods. Ways of deepening knowledge, repetition, as well as socratic interview forms are of particular interest. The latter is introduced and tried.
Based on the content of the course, student teachers will choose a topic which they independently prepare in a didactically meaningful way. Parts of this are simulated in the course of the seminar. The prepared material is consecutively shared with all participants.
